Join us on an exciting visual voyage into the depths of our oceans with "Printed Oceans: A Quilted Narrative of Marine Debris," a captivating art installation that blends artistry with environmental activism.

Sea Lab Printed Oceans

Each panel of this ocean inspired quilt, measuring 102 feet in length by 96 inches in width, is crafted from upcycled sailcloth and made up of vibrant relief prints panels of found objects.

Sea Lab File

Every relief print adorning the sailcloth tells a story—an intricate narrative of plastic bottles, discarded fishing gear, and discarded objects, carefully assembled and created by our dedicated by Sea Lab, teen artists for oceans, students.

The materials used in this project have been sourced from both organized clean-up efforts and the discoveries of local divers, charting a course towards a greener planet and cleaner ocean.

Each stitched panel serves as a reminder of our local efforts to keep our waterways clean and our ocean protected.
